Shimla - Highland

During our short stay in Scotland, my partner and I wanted to have a curry for his birthday. We chose this local restaurant and were thoroughly impressed by the excellent service. I ordered the sag aloo and it was the best I have ever tasted. The portions were huge, so I couldn't finish it all and they kindly packed it up for me to enjoy tomorrow night.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic. I ordered the chicken tandoori madras and my partner had the lamb tandoori south Indian. Both dishes were very spicy, but incredibly delicious. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Lovely meal on every visit, great service and worth a visit to Beauly. Very busy with takeaways, so it’s popular locally. Pre-book if you want a table during peak times.

Food was very tasty , hot and all fresh produce. Would definately recommend a visit if you are staying in Beauly. Don’t be put off if the restaurant looks quiet inside.
