The Athelstone Lions Club celebrated its 45th anniversary dinner at the Highbury Hotel on Saturday, November 6th, 2021. The service provided by Emma, the function manager, with the assistance of Tiffany, was exceptional and greatly appreciated. The meal was well-prepared, served hot, and enjoyed by all in attendance. The staff working that evening were courteous, helpful, and attentive. A job well done by everyone involved, a credit to the hotel. - Michael, Athelstone Lions.

Unfortunately I will not recommend this hotel, we ordered our meals and waited for an hour or more to come to our meals. the meals on the menu sounded brilliant, but in real life they were very common, my huhn salad had. very little dressing on her, was so dry, a few salat leaves and a piece tomaten and a half avocado just sat on the teller. my friend had the meat salad, again very dry definitiw not worth what we paid for it. the bark was over boiled. the best part of the meal was the plate of the chips that I had to share as a side. the girls repeatedly said sadly, at the waiting time, looked like they had a function on top that the other guests might put in the front ground. management may have to take into account the personal rates. I think the type in the kitchen is dead. sad to say I would not recommend this place at all:

Hot night, too hot to cook, gor out of the pool and went for the pub. the dining room menu a bit of pricy on how we felt, checked the sportable instead of burger beer for $8.00 was fine worth as...was my rag chips. sone his wife had cake and also the pizza. all just put on the place. this has to be too easy again often.

The Highbury hotel has 50%off all lunch time menus the serves are large the food is very nice The RIBS are the best i have ever tasted Salad and vegetable bar with bread rolls
