The Chequers Inn - High Wycombe

The meal was wonderful today. The steak was cooked perfectly, and it was my first time trying the variety of hard fish, which was a great experience. The service was excellent, providing just the right amount of attention to make me feel welcome.

This is my go-to local spot, even though I don’t live nearby. They have fantastic local beers and great food, especially on Monday nights. The landlady is a wonderful host and frequently organizes various events (keep an eye out for board game nights coming soon)!

The atmosphere is fantastic! The people are beautiful and friendly, and we had an amazing karaoke night to celebrate a friend's birthday.
