Angelo Italian - High View

My wife and I chose to stay at the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we decided to make a reservation at this restaurant. We called Angelo to confirm our booking and mentioned the special occasion. The person on the phone assured us that they would arrange a table befitting the occasion. We thought that was nice. However, the table we received was right by the door, and we were even offered the option to sit outside in the breeze. The prices are outrageous for the level of service provided! The phone near the front door was ringing constantly, and despite no one being there, it just kept ringing over and over again. Lyon deserves so much better than this! I hope this review helps others avoid this place and encourages them to choose wisely to truly enjoy their stay in this beautiful city. The attached photo highlights the lack of attention to customer care.

Delicious meals in a stunning atmosphere with attentive service.

The customer service was impeccable. Every server was exceptional—friendly and very professional. The food was decent but not outstanding. The decor featuring marble and velvet chairs is quite beautiful. However, I don't find the food to be particularly flavorful or fresh, and the prices are high for what is ultimately just average cuisine.
