High River Timmies

Drive thru is quick and you can always get consistently good food and coffee. My favourite is their chili!

The food quality at this chain restaurant is excellent and the service is fantastic. We grabbed some donuts and coffee before heading to the border.

My family and I decided to take a coffee break as we were driving from Canmore to Heartland Farmstead and then on to High River to visit Maggie's and the museum. The restaurant was impeccably clean, had spacious and tidy restrooms, served fresh donuts and coffee, and gave us a warm welcome. We enjoyed our lattes, coffee, and old-fashioned sour cream and maple donuts. There was ample parking available as well.

I visited this location about a year ago and I completely share the experience of one of the other reviewers. The toilet was a Third World latrine. I turned around and left immediately. This time around I thought I'd give it another try and it was very very VERY clean. The only flaw was that the tap kept running, but that's a maintenance issue, not a hygiene and health issue. The service was very good, and the Timbits were superfresh. So they've really turned this place around!

The washroom was about the worst I’ve seen anywhere in the world! Seriously, I’d use a toilet in Ethiopia before High River Tim Hortons. Toilet paper on the floor, pee on the seat, even the sink was a disaster. If your employees can’t look after the washroom guests can see, I wonder how the food prep I can’t see is handled? Keep driving!
