High Ongar Post Office (the Coffee Post)

This is an amazing shop. I was mostly surprised on how they let your pets in! My favourite thing to buy from them as a snack is their cookie and a cookie+cream milkshake, but everything they sell tastes SO good! Definitely recommend if you want to stop for a sweet treat!

Lady in post office is friendly, helpful and welcoming

This was a welcome find after a very long dog walk. The staff are very friendly and the food and drinks are good. We sat outside but I was told the dogs are welcome inside as well. That will be lovely for the winter day after a cold walk!

Great friendly careing proffesional service fab coffee excellent cakes

Wonderful little coffee shop with a buzzing community vibe . Beautiful cakes homemade by the lady owner . Charming young man acting as barista. Lots of locals chatting away and dog owners on the outside seating . To top it all they have a post office at the back . My wife remembers this as a sweet shop she went to after school. Charming place and clearly very much the centre of this rural community . Oh and they have an alcohol licence too. Utterly fabulous.
