Steve's Place - Hiawassee

Just like dinner at Grandma 's. Friendly, attentive staff, decent buffet and good burgers, too. It is now known as Kountry Kitchen . And if you like banana pudding it 's one of their staples!

We asked a local resident to recommend a good lunch spot on a Saturday and she said Steve's place for their fried chicken. Our waitress said they had menu items too but we opted for the buffet. Everything was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Fried chicken, beef tips, rice, potatoes, green beans, and black eyed peas. I especially loved the fried corn nuggets. Hubby didn't like those said they were too sweet. Desserts were tasty and homemade. Friendly service.

Steve's Place is a great place to eat! The food is always good! I love the Sunday Buffet because they have turkey, dressing and all the trimmings. There are other items to choose from too. There is also a great Salad Bar. The Owners are wonderful people and all of the employees are so friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

Tonight was our night to try this place and we were impressed! Dan's Ribeye was so tender that it was practically melted in his mouth, and my Bacon Melt was loaded with so much bacon and delicious fairy that I just swallowed with luck! Our server Heather, was the best we have, in a long time she also went beyond and beyond so that the entire culinary experience is a true joy!

Today was my mother's birthday and she wanted a steak. I also knew the right place to take them. The steaks were so juicy and tender. We really enjoyed it.
