Cafe Rouge Hertford

Their booking confirmation confirmed only 2 days later, so I booked in the restaurant.

We always enjoy cafe rouge. it is authentic and always reminds us of a caffe in montmatre. eating is exactly what they expect from a French restaurant, so has a nice menu, is well prepared, cooked and served. service was fast, despite the restaurants full on mother's day. hertford is comfortable, set at the rande of a small place and has a few tables. we enjoyed our visit so that we return to the next weeks for a jubilee.

We had a voucher for 50% from the price of a main meal in the januar at cafe rouge, which made it very good. the restaurant in hertford is cozy and warm with a lively atmosphere without being busy. the staff was very attentive and friendly and the food was good.

I'm a regular customer here and love everything about this restaurant. Fabulous location, good wine selection, super service and gorgeous food. However on my last visit the good was not good. Badly cooked steak and over cooked snails. However our wonderful waitress Monika was fabulous, as always.

Our Saturdaty lunch was very good indeed, lovely food, piping hot and nicely served. We will definitely visit again .
