Even if you think from outside, the place looks inconspicuous, you should definitely go in, the food is sensational. The choice of meat dishes and bread times is quite reasonable. We had steaks and they were great. However, they should be ordered 2-3 days in advance, as they are particularly marinated and depend on a time for the taste. All other dishes are available without pre-order. In the group we had well done, medium and medium rare and all were on the point and all were delicate and externally crispy, really great and a super herbal butter. There are parking spaces in front of the restaurant and the employees are very nice. So in any case a thumb up for the Michelmühle.
Very good Franconian inn. Nice and fast service. Very inexpensive and excellent Franconian cuisine. Beautiful ambience in the beer garden directly at the Pegnitz.
On the third visit, Filetsteak 300Gr. ordered and fed with high-gloss and in constant, perfect quality and preparation. Here really fits everything: friendliness, speed, quality of steak, optics and therefore price/performance. Very close to the best steaks. Add bacon beans, roast potatoes and herbal butter. I always eat my steaks English. You have the feeling that you could eat it completely raw and then it would still be butter soft. Tip: Preorder steaks and places very timely! In good weather, the small garden is very fast full and inside there is also only a small guest room. Great!
I find it HERVORRAGEND in our beautiful home town to have a restaurant where hospitality is so big written the quality of food as well as the host house culture in a family environment that it is looking for its same. Accordingly, I would like to invite everyone to visit the Michelmühle!
