We tried to eat here but the man at the host stand outside waved a dismissive hand at us and walked away when we asked him if he spoke English. We tried a second time and he did it again. So we walked across the path to Anna Marie’s Seeliebe which was delicious and they were so nice and welcoming.

We had lunch here on a rainy day. We were inside and had views of the lake. Our wine was a lovely Franken Sylvaner, one of the best in our trip. Our waiter was super friendly and cheerful. The food was good. We each had the fish,

I can't understand some of the negative reviews but perhaps we didn't sample enough of the menu. Our bouillabaisse was great a nice variation with a saffron pernot base. The views and location are fantastic.

The atmosphere is typical Bavarian and wonderful. The location is right on the lake so summer outside in the beer garden would be super. Today however the weather was cool and extremely windy. We ate inside and the service was good. Our dog was welcome under the table. The food was really good. We started with soup and then had a platter for two. I wish my bowl had been bigger because the soup was so good. We had the maroonen( roasted chestnuts) and apple cream soup. Fantastic.
