I took a day trip from Mexico city to Peubla on 12/27/16. The guide took us to Villa Rosa. The buffet cost 170 pesos. It was rather good in both quality and variety. I enjoyed the stewed beef, which was well done, and salad. So...this was the only time I had plenty of meat for the first time. I paid 200 pesos together, including a bottle of water. There was a small band there.
We stopped for lunch here as a part of a tour of Puebla (obviously the tour guide gets a commission). It wash;t a bad place to eat at all. We sat there with all of the other tourists and listened to a local band play...some pretty decent music. The setting was the central courtyard of a family home. The meal was buffet style, all you can eat. There were several different things to try, all of which was very well done and tasty. All dishes were comida típica. The rice pudding was, for me, the star of the show.
Horrific steer clear tasteless cold, the leaders obviously stale a good offer because they have last of them. sweet rests never arrived
We came here for a lunch buffet with 20 people on a tour. I had not expected some of the buffets on the tour were not so great. this was surprisingly different and much better. Huhn with a mole was a real tasty bite. very chic suppen and many other fresh options. good desserts too.
