Uncle Bubba's Barbecue Smokehouse

This was my first visit to Uncle Bubba's. Positives: The pulled pork is really good, and the slaw was probably the best I've had from any BBQ place not too sweet. The smoked sausage is amazing, and I really liked the tangy BBQ sauce. Negatives: I will admit that we were not a fan of the sweet buns for the sandwiches and the pimento cheese was not good at all. Also, if you're ordering to go, make sure you check the bag. I ordered the large multi serving of fries for $15, but only received a single side serving. But, I live 15 minutes away and my family was waiting on dinner, so I wasn't going to take the time to go back. I'll probably try again, but definitely check the bag before leaving.

Party of 7 we took my mother in law here for her birthday dinner 4/9 around 2:30. My husband and I have been here a few times prior and food and service was always on par. However, the service and food were terrible. When we arrived the restaurant only had a few other people, not even half full, and we ordered drinks and 2 appetizers. When we ordered our meals, which took forever to arrive, the wait staff appeared to be bored and not intersted in us. We ordered the sampler plate, 5 small slices of sausage, 3 fried green tomatoes, and 2 wings with pimento cheese in cup on the side. We also ordered burnt ends. The appetizers were dry and not worth the price. My husband ordered shrimp and grits. Barely any grits in the bowl, 4 shrimp, and the broth was horrible. My smokehouse burger was dry and very little seasoning. The mac and cheese with pulled pork that 2 people in our party ordered was dry and clumped together. Our bill was $153 for dry and uninspired food. Thinking twice before coming back.

Every time I have ordered from here my food has came burnt. wont eat here again for sure.

Food was cold!! Service was awful!! Server had a horrible attitude!! Would absolutely not recommend wasting your money.

Our family was very pleased with everything we ordered. It was all delicious. There was pulled pork in the baked beans and it was delicious. The chicken had great flavor and the fried okra was hot and fresh. I had the brisket and enjoyed it. The portion was big enough that my son was able to share some with me.
