Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I love a good brunch, especially with groundless mimoses and rebel republic NOT disappointed. We enjoyed the Chilaquiles and the Beeren-French-Toast very much. You really can't beat the breeze on the outdoor terrace so I definitely recommend going on a beautiful day. The service is amazing and they really don't leave your glass empty what I like!
Very popular tourist place with surprisingly delicious food! It was very busy when we went (Saturday Night) but we were still served very quickly and our food and drinks did not take very long to get out. I had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and my partner got the house salad. It was a majority vote that was disappointed.
Cool little restaurant bar. They have tables and a bar inside, and a good size outdoor terrace next to the pier plaza. They have a small menu, but they obviously do it very well. We ordered the Burgers house. They are served on an English muffin. We were initially skeptical, but it was actually one of the better burgers I had recently. The Pommes were also very good. The service is fine. Prices are somewhat high, but on a par with other menus on the square. You have a few TVs over the bar.
We came to the Rebel Social House to try the impossible burger and fortunately we arrived for a happy hour. The drinks were great and our server went beyond and beyond a little more taste to my drink I appreciated. We tried the Kung POA cauliflower and it was good. We enjoyed the impossible burgers, but thought them and the impossible tacos could use a little more taste.
Great food, decent service. The giant pretzel really is giant and probably the best pretzel I have had. Its perfectly soft on the inside with a nice tough outer shell. The chicken pesto sandwich blew my mind and is a stand out from the rest of our orders. The burgers are huge but just ok. Really the only complaint I have of this place is about the hostess that night. When my party walked up she just stared at us blankly until she said we could go in.. we didn't want to go to the bar but sit at a table. Not until wandering around the restaurant for a few and walking back to talk to her did she seat us, it did not ruin the experience but definitely left a sour taste in our mouthes for the start of our dinner...that was until the pretzel came out! But overall Rebel Republic Social House is a great addition to the Hermosa Beach Pier food scene.
