The Good Food Store - HEPBURN SPRINGS

Based on others reviews I decided to breakfast here on a cold Wednesday morning. I was greeted by friendly, happy staff, quick service despite being busy with one very large group. Latte came within 5 min of ordering, good, hot, proper latte, crema not foam on top and no fro fro decoration. Loads of interesting food advertising to look at while you wait. Breakfast arrived while coffee was still hot, YUM. Only criticism would be that the eggs could have stayed in a little longer. Had eggs benedict and mushrooms. Sauce was creamy and smooth, ham just the right thickness, buttered toast, well seasoned mushrooms. Very pleasant atmosphere, good food, great service.

Looks like your average cafe. But blows you away. Great food and staff are super kind. Quite cheap as well

Walked in for a late lunch. One of the hosts explained the kitchen staff had left so the menu was limited. No problem! Still enough to fill our family and our hosts were lovely people. So friendly as was everyone else we encountered in Daylesford. Would certainly return again next time we are in the area. Thanks guys and girls!

I must have missed something. The place looked like it had been decorated from the Salvos next door. The decor was the highlight of our breakfast experience. The food was just nowhere. The chocolate milkshake was delivered in a plastic take away cup, the pot of tea was a weak no name brand english breakfast tea bag and the poached eggs were snotty and served on white bread toast from a plastic bag, there was no seasoning and no garnish. This meal took understated to a new level.
