Bidra med feedbackOne of the most incredible dining experiences I've had in a while. The staff is exceptional. Midway through our meal, the owner came out and shared some fascinating history about the restaurant and their family, making us feel like we were guests in their home. The food was fantastic! The mushrooms were unlike any I've ever tasted, full of flavor and truly a standout. I can't find mushrooms like that anywhere in Melbourne. I would gladly make the two-hour drive every weekend just to dine here. Absolutely amazing.
We absolutely loved this restaurant! It was the highlight of our weekend and a must-visit. It truly captures the essence of authentic Italian cuisine. Three of us tried the forbidden fruit dessert and couldn't get enough. My zucchini and mushroom pasta was incredibly delicious. And the salami was so good, it was impossible to stop eating it. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with not just great food, but great all-around.
You may easily overlook Lucini's when driving by, as it appears quite basic and almost rundown. However, it is definitely worth a stop. Lucini's is perfect for those who enjoy casual dining and high-quality, affordable locally sourced food in an extremely rustic setting. Don't be surprised if you spot chickens or goats wandering around as you dine. Overall, highly recommended.
Lunch from Melbourne. We were a little crushed that they don't do the tours on all days anymore but then the Chicken Pasta that I had was amazing. Everything was melting away in your mouth. The fettuccine Bolognaise was really good too. <br/ <br/ Maria was very lovely and spend a lot of her time making sure we were happy there.
The negative reviews on here do not reflect my visit here of recent and I was accompanied by 4 others who agree this place is unique, historical and serves authentic no frills pasta and sides if you are after a bit of history and soul then worthy a visit !
