Valley View Restaurant & Reception Centre

Visited the 10481 Bistro for lunch with a group. We were the only party present on that Friday afternoon - which to me does not speak too well for the popularity of the place. Did not like the napery - black table cloths, black chair covers, overpoweringly depressing! One needs bright and cheerful napery when dining and really nothing looks better than crisp white table cloths! The food was not all that great - very average Chicken Parmigiana (which was my order), but the Sticky Date Pudding was excellent.

We dined with friends on a Groupon last night.The Groupon was for 2kg of pork ribs and slaw with a glass of wine each.I cannot complain about the amount of ribs. They were plentiful and tasty. The slaw however, was enough for one person.We ordered entres of garlic bread and cheesy jalapeño bread which were quite tasty and deserts of sticky date pudding, and my friend had the brownie. The sticky date was delicious but very very small with a tiny scoop of ice cream. Would I go again? Probably not.

We came here on a wine tour and stayed for lunch. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. I would highly recommend eating here????

In the past I wouldn't have touched this place with a barge pole having had two very bad experiences. But to our delight we tried it earlier this year and found new owners and a new vibrancy and excellent food and staff. Today I find that the landlords have moved in and the new owners have gone. I hope this doesn't mean a reverting to the terrible service and food of the past and the sloppy "house special" potato dish.

Was getting late and no ideas for dinner so since this is local to us we decide to pop in for a late meal. I had a beef burger on a Turkish bun with slaw and pickles my wife had the fillet steak with roast potatoes and greens. Both meals were absolutely delicious. Nice gentle background music and an excellent merlot complimented the evening. A lovely surprise. Will definitely be going again.
