Mountain Deli - Hendersonville

Surprising little deli on the main street. There was a line up the whole time we were there for lunch. We ordered the hamkey (warm sandwich) and it was devine! Perfect combination of flavors and such a good balance especially the walnuts. The club sub was really fresh and tasty!

While strolling down Main Street in Hendersonville, if you're looking for lunch, head to the Mountain Deli for one of their signature hot carved sandwiches. There was always a line, and 4 men worked hard with their heads down behind the line to create delicious options from their famous Ruben to the TBR (turkey, bacon and ranch). The potato salad side was awesome!

Popped in for a quick bite before heading out to drive BRP, shared 2 sandwiches, one was turkey with cranberry mayo and one was a ham thing and got sides of potato salad.... the potato salad is amazing. Not your usual mustard potato salad (which I do love) but sour cream/mayo with bacon, soooo good.

Great sandwich spot! Had the oven roast turkey sandwich w bacon and it was amazing. Super fresh meat and bread. My brother had the chicken salad and loved it. Said it had a nice and subtle spice to it. Would definitely go back again! Staff was friendly and the interior looked nice and comfortable.

Really great sandwiches. Came here to grab a to go lunch when in town for work. I got the veggie #2 and was happy to see several veggie options on the menu! It was a cute little shop on the corner of a Main Street with lots of other options around. I was immediately welcomed and directed to the other end of the counter wheee I placed my order. There are several bread options, I went with the whole grain. The hummus on the sandwich was really yummy. Grabbed a bag of chips as well and then paid, waited about 2 minutes for my sandwich to be made and was on my way. Definitely somewhere I would visit again, it was especially be a nice mid- or post-hike snack if you can by before or after heading to a trail!
