Bidra med feedbackI was looking for great Chinese food as we have limited choice in Portland TN. Was with my doctor and saw this place. So glad I tried! Had the sweet and sour shrimp lunch special and was so glad I did! Yarn was cooked for completion - came with roasted rice (delicious) and 2 spring rolls (excellent). Can't wait to go back and try more from the menu! Recommend this place very much!
Large modern atmosphere that is clean and well lit. Our server was very friendly and attentive. She even boxed our food for us. I felt my chicken from my sweet sour chicken was much too dry and for the price it was not my favorite Chinese meal.
The place is a little smaller than expected, but don't let it be quenched. The service and quality of food is amazing. That was my first visit and now I have a new favorite restaurant. If you enjoy the Sommeliersuppe, try it here. Although there is not much color to the broth, it is FULL of taste. The chicken was perfectly cooked and also the rice. I don't know what they do differently, but it works. *If you ask, they will not deliver, but they will take over.
First of all, this is not your typical strip of mall Chinese place that is loaded with sodium and penetrated into thick gooey sugar sauce. We ordered the sesame chicken, chicken fried rice and vegetables Lo Mein. Sesame chicken was amazing. Easy. Not heavily stuffed. Not too sweet. Freshly tasting chicken. Definitely not the same Ole Gooey sauce you get at any other Chinese place. Unbelievable. 5 of 5 The chicken fried rice was my favorite of the ordered items. Light and fluffy rice. Amazing taste. Huge pieces of fresh chicken. 10 of 5 The Vegetable Lo My was my least favorite piece. Right boiled, but there was a lack of taste. Not terrible. But also not amazing. 3 of 5 In addition to the great food, service was prompt, polite and pleasant to interact. All in all, La Chine immediately became my favorite Chinese place in Hendersonville. I can't wait to try the Egg Foo Young.
Great little Chinese restaurant! Very clean, table service, friendly staff, tasty food and reasonable prices. They're tucked in a corner so a bit harder to find, but well worth the effort. There's outdoor seating, too, if the weather's nice. We tried the Orange Chicken and the Kung Pao Shrimp. Orange sauce was perfect, enough orange without being overpowering. Kung Pao had enough zing without being painful. Great place, eat here soon and often!
