Chili's Grill - Hendersonville

First time in a chili's in a long time. Expectations were low but the food and the service were outstanding. Food was hot and prepared well. Interior needs an update. It was dark and dingy. Felt dirty even though it was notFood: 5/5

The menu change was disappointing and the atmosphere hasn't quite recovered from covid times BUT my server was the absolute best.She was attentive, personable, patient with us reviewing the new menu, was able to answer questions and didn't forget the substitutions or changes my kiddo requested. She is pregnant, dark hair, tall, skinny, early 20s and I want her to be recognized enough that I'm going to try to remember to stop in just for her name. Hopefully that's enough to go on in case I forget with these 3 kids of my own.Kid-friendliness: Booster seat was clean, table tablet was clean enough that a quick alcohol wipe was enough for me to safely let my child play with (during flu season lol)

Tonight was the first time in a year we been back to Chilis. The service last night was better than a year ago. The food was hot and came out quick after ordering. They still only had 1 server and she killed and handled the whole bar area on her own.

We came for a late lunch early dinner. Only one server working the entire restaurant and bar but he gladly set us outside the bar area. He was attentive, efficient, and pleasant.Food: 5/5

Let me just start off by saying my bartender was amazing and 5/5. Super helpful. This review however, is for the restaurant and food.Whenever i arrived, i sat at the front for minutes and not one person even looked at me, or batted an eye. I assumed i’d be left hanging there so i went and sat myself at the bar.The food tastes old is the best way to put it.The caesar salad tasted like it’s old and the croutons were squishy and definitely old.A “fresh”bag was opened and they were hard as rocks. I couldnt even put my fork through them. I gave up at that point because i didn’t want to bother.My chicken in the pasta was overcooked and hard, lacked moisture.The pasta itself was not bad and neither was the sauce. The only thing stopping this from being a one star is the nice bartender lady.
