Bidra med feedbackThe Oven-Roasted Chicken with potatoes was very good. The pizza was also really good.
What a neat place to visit! It was my second time in the Nashville area, and I had to come back to Sam's. YES, I am a returning out of state customer. As a southern Californian, I knew I'd have great food, but when I tell you I cried when I first tasted Sam's chicken tenders, I wish I was lying. As a 30+ year old, it shames me to say that I cried actual tears of happiness when I first tried these tenders. This was 3 years ago, when my husband and I came out to visit my brother in law since they recently moved out here. They raged about this chicken and this restaurant so much I swore they were full of themselves. So that goes to say that I came in with the intention of tasting these tenders and shrugging them off as another typical dry, crunchy tender. NOPE! Juicy, meaty, tender, soft, melt-in-your-mouth perfectly battered and seasoned. CUE THE TEARS. my body didn't let me lie. They were, in fact, the best chicken tenders I've ever had. Which is why on this trip, it was the first place we went to get dinner at. And I ordered the entire platter entre for myself. And they were just as amazing as I remember. No tears this time, but my heart still smiled silently with every bite. <3
I guess I went in with too high of expectations but yeah this place is not great ordered a blackberry marg — pretty sure they used powdered lime. Uhh the chicken tendies were tiny pieces of chicken with an absurd amount of batter. Thats about it. Definitely won’t go back
Our first time here and the ribs were great, the coleslaw was nasty and it had a bug crawling on it. So the manager gave us $10 off.
Food is in a downward spiral. Go across the street to Jonathan's Grille instead.
