So, I stumbled upon Wahoo 's Tacos, and let me tell you, it 's not just a restaurant – it 's a full-blown fiesta for your taste buds and your inner game geek! ???First things first, the food is like a flavor carnival. I dove headfirst into their fish tacos, and it was like a taste tsunami of goodness. Fresh, crispy, and paired with the most magical sauce – I might have shed a tear of joy.But the party doesn 't stop there! They 've got this killer mix of Mexican, Brazilian, and Asian flavors that 'll make your taste buds do the cha-cha. The rice bowls are like a dance-off of teriyaki and cilantro – who knew food could have such killer moves? Now, let 's talk about the atmosphere. It 's like they took a slice of SoCal chill vibes and sprinkled it all over the place. Surfboards on the walls, funky tunes playing, and a laid-back vibe that screams, "Stay a while and enjoy the good times. "And games! Did I mention they have games? Board games, arcade games – it 's a nostalgia trip and a half. You can feast on your tacos while challenging your pals to a game of Pac-Man. It 's like they knew my love language: food and friendly competition.Drinks? Oh, they 've got that covered too. The margaritas are like a tropical party in a glass, and the beer selection is a journey around the craft brew universe. They even have non-alcoholic options that are so good; you won 't miss the booze. The staff deserves a shoutout too. They 're like the cool friends you wish you had – friendly, always ready with a recommendation, and they make you feel like you 're part of the Wahoo 's family. In conclusion, Wahoo 's Tacos is not just a restaurant; it 's a food, fun, and friends extravaganza. If you 're looking for a place where the tacos are as good as the vibes, this is it. It 's like a tasty trip to paradise, with a side of friendly competition. ???
DO NOT GO HERE spoiled food, mediocre taste, expensive for quality received. Being a SoCal native that frequented Baja Big Sur, Loreto, La Paz, and Tijuana.. I flat told the cashier I have a bias and standard for fish tacos n pacific coast seafood. None of the four items I tried came close , and the quality was atrocious.Entered around 6pm on a Monday, dinner time, to find a barren restaurant. Counted, and it was able to seat about 90 people inside with a patio out front. There was only one person red flag. Went up and asked why are yall dead during dinner? She told me that it was probably cuz the prices are a bit higher than what you can get around, but she 's been there for years n still eats there. Asked her recommendations , and got one of them. The spicy fish taco. Also ordered a fried fish taco, a spicy carnitas taco, and an order of steak taquitos. As you can see, the taquitos were loosely rolled and small (reminded me of lumpia lol), and served with OLD guacamole. Not just brown from like, the top of the container had oxidized. Nah. All of the guac was brown and old throughout. The spicy taco was not spicy nor tasty, and it and the other taco were over garnished with about a cup of mayo based, wilted slaw that tasted gross. The carnitas taco tasted good, but not 4.50$ per taco, good. The brown lime tarnishing (not garnishing) the beer was also a put off. I tried two spicy and one mild salsa, they were gelatinous that required some stirring .. flavor was flat, not spicy. No extra limes at the salsa bar, no cilantro/onion.. I accept Vegas is land locked, and there will be a price increase for having to ship in fish.. but the quality of food was outright awful. When I asked what places she liked , she suggested 5Guys burgers; shoulda gone there for better quality, leave full and satisfied, and not having to worry about the quality of the food. This place was dead during dinner, and if this is the quality of food they put out, can see why it 's dead and see this place closing soon. Never going back. Save your money, time, and gut.
Very close to our hotel in Henderson. Walked over, place was pretty empty. Food was delicious. I remember eating there years ago in Southern Cal. Will plan to make it a regular stop on road trips!
Don't eat at this location. Wahoo texted me saying it has 1$ carnitas tacos . I drove all the way over there. The cashier didn't know how to ring up the dollar tacos. Then she had me wait for 20 minutes while she calls many people to figure it out. Then after talking to a manager. That they cannot honor it. When the text message says while supplies last. They still had plenty of supplies . As I was waiting a lady came up and said they didn't put any meat in her burrito so to try to make up for it they gave her a side of meet. Truly bad customer service. If I could give this place 0 stars I would
