Bidra med feedbackI booked Several weeks in advance for a party of possibly 12 turned out because of ill health only ten of us. This was to be a celebration for my 70th Birthday. It was an absolute shambles. The food turned up in dribs and drabs. People sitting with a bowl of rice but no mains to go with it. In all my years on this planet I’ve never known anything so bad. This place should be avoided at all costs. I spent the evening in tears instead of smiling and being happy. Felt totally humiliated. Plates being brought to the table by girls holding them with their jumper sleeves and then no food being brought up. Some food was brought to us but it was stuff not ordered. Completely ruined my night. I wanted a nice evening to remember certainly was but not in a good way. This would have been quite a profitable evening for them but we walked out in disgust. There loss. Could have been a nice earner 10 people at possibly £20 to £30 each. If not more. And they ended up with nothing. AVOID THIS PLACE
Fresh, tasty well prepared dishes and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyable. I lived in Asia for years, and the food here was as good as many other Singapore restaurants.
Found this restaurant whilst on holiday in Mullion. This is a mixed review… to start on the positives the food is good and quite tasty which to be honest I was surprised about given the look of the restaurant. We ordered drinks, starters and mains for 3 people which came up to around £80 which was fairly reasonable. Customer service was pretty good, anything we asked for they brought over (except for drinks that weren’t available. Will comment on that later). A special shoutout to Tanisha who was very friendly and helpful. We did book a table before we arrived and it was set up waiting for us. Now my other comments… the restaurant is small and seemed to be more of a takeaway with some tables squeezed in. However we were told later that there was an upstairs room that is mainly used for functions. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness in general and the tablecloth under the disposal tablecloth was dirty and there were flies in the air. When one of our party ordered drinks, their first two selections were not available and the waitress apologised and commented that the management are not getting the drinks in even though they know they have none. The prices on the menu are not correct, however there is a note on the first page to say add £1 to every dish. We did check the bill when it came and there were some discrepancies however the amounts evened themselves out so we didn’t mention it. It’s worth checking your bill before paying. This place definitely has its faults but it’s kind of worth it for the tasty food.
We dined in but prices on inside dining did not correspond with what we were charged. Firstly we paid an extra £2 for English Tea as only Chinese Tea shows on till so we were overcharged! Also overcharged £1 extra per dish and not told this before ordering or when order was taken! We had already paid an extra £1 on each dish to eat in the restaurant which was fair enough. We just don’t appreciate hidden extra costs. Our issues were laughed off by staff member.
We had an excellent meal at Beijing Cuisine last night! The food was so fresh and all dishes ordered were great, we particularly enjoyed the battered prawn balls, crispy beef, Phoenix rice and roast pork. Service was friendly and efficient, had one small issue with our very large order (for 8 people! which was solved quickly. If we lived closer we would definitely be regulars!
