House Of Sandwiches - Helsinki

Visited with a group of friends. 3 had sandwiches, 1 salad and 1 had fish. Portions were big and tasty. Good value for money and the restaurant is cosy too.

Local brasserie in a suburb where only competition comes from Pizza Kebab enterprises. You would not expect that much of ambition from the kitchen you could not be more wrong. Home made cray fish soup tasted as it should home made, the main chantarelle risotto was also delicious, Followed by a small enough pannacotta. Menu wine menu (two whites limoncello) total 51 euros, where do you find similar value ?

I have been driving by this place for weeks and I finally stopped to check it out. First off, fantastic Roast Beef sandwich and secondly, it was such a nice casual place to enjoy the meal!

It's a small restaurant a bit outside of the city center, but if you live in the area or want to have a nice lunch experience you should defiantly visit this place. Especially on Saturday's when they serve their champagne brunch buffet. The food is homemade with delicious taste. If you try the brunch buffet, you can choose between numerous variants of really tasty tapas dishes, homemade smoothies, sweet cakes for dessert and of course a glass or two of prosecco.

Nice to have restaurant near by. Service was fast but not many people either. I had sandwich from the list. It was quite ok. Another thing we tried was duck with orange sauce. Portion was small and a bit over cooked but ok
