Bidra med feedbackMy wife and I had lunch here, food was really nice and the service was excellent. Will definitely return! So if you are looking for a Chinese restaurant in Helsinki, definitely come here!!
Looked nice from outside BUT........... Ir was a Buffett when we were there about 7 in the evening so not late, but many of the starter dishes were nearly finished and not replenished! Moved on to the hot main course dishes, in a Buffett I usually have a plan, take a little bit of everything to discover what I like and don’t like, then go back and have a portion of the things I like. So I’m my first sampling session everything except the boiled rice was tepid or cold. I complained so the lady behind the counter she went round feeling all the dishes then went into the kitchen and out came the “chef” who felt all the dishes had a word with the counter lady, dived under the serving area and clearly turned the heat up then went back to the kitchen the “lady” returned to the counter and between them not one word was spoken to me! No apology I was just ignored I understand that these things happen but to be treated as if I had done something wrong really upset me. Anyway the real worry was that the chicken dishes that were nearly cold were now being reheated! AVIOD!
There's always a risk when you change a working concept. They used to have a versatile and very delicious lunch buffet, and the place was quite often full of Chinese tourists. After a bit longer while, I went there again in lunch time, and the place was plain empty! Soup, salad and spring rolls were still there in the buffet, and then you could order from three alternatives at the counter. I had chicken in lemon sauce which was not bad I must say, but I really missed the previous buffet with so many choices. A group of other customers came after a while, but after discovering the changed concept, they also got disappointed, and they left. This used to be my No. 1 Chinese restaurant in Helsinki, but sad to say, I have to lower my rating to a very average level.
I ordered chicken kung po, it was supposed to be spicy but instead it was extremely bland with only salt as a spice -way too much salt. On top of that i don't eat pork, and sadly there was a piece of pork on my food and i only realised it after i had bitten it already, this left me with the feeling of wanting to puke for hours. Also our waiter brought the rice to our table so that his thump was buried inside the rice. We got a dirty looking bottle of water, that was a bit broken and we just taught okay, we just dont drink this, but annoingly we were billed one euro for this TAB water without any mention of it costing money. The worst restaurant experience i have ever had.
Never eaten such salty and oily eggplant dish! 鱼香茄子. This dish normally can tell how authentic Chinese restaurant is! Rice is the worst kind, but very normal in Chinese restaurants in Finland unfortunately. The cheapest, the broken hard kind of rice. I think it is disgraceful, we customers deserve better treatment. I told them it is so salty, one waitress from HK was apologetic and another from mainland didnot say anything. Would not visit ever again, once again discourage myself from trusting reviews and going to Chinese restaurants in Europe. Very slim hope for decent food. Salt, soy souce, oil, are main things you see in dishes. Sorry to be very honest.I felt so sick for the whole afternoon because the salt and oil.
