Anno 1887 - Helmstedt

The staff was quite nice, but I found the atmosphere a bit too snooty. We waited an hour for our food. The fish was clearly too sour and didn't taste good. The steak was overcooked and rubbery. The sauce on the steak was barely there and the mushrooms weren't tasty. The potatoes were very dry. The children's portions are really only intended for children up to 3 years old because there was so little there that my 8 year old brother was still hungry after the meal. My portion was also significantly less than €23.50 and wasn't full. Luckily there is a kebab shop around the corner. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

On November 10th A table for 3 people for December 7th. Ordered at 6 p.m. (later confirmed by Christmas parties on December 8th) confirmed by email on the same day. A large plate of tagliatelle, without lemon and lemon zest and without arugula, with five pine nuts, five pieces of mediocre mozzarella and five whole tomatoes that could not be cut with a blunt knife (the menu says tagliatelle al limone with pine nuts, arugula, mozzarella and lemon zest .
