There are so days when there is a feeling of hunger on the strangest things like Currywurst, Burger etc. Yesterday it was the pipe on dark Greek cuisine with Knobi, Bifteki Co. Such a short trip to Heidgraben does not take long to look here: Only in the middle of the village there is only one host that has long been operated by Greek Andreas and his team. Ambience: I have already left myself enough about the property: large, old village center with festive hall, bowling alley etc. and only 3 large guest rooms; in one you can smoke. The building material is constantly renewed and yet the Heidekrug Feeling remains due to the rural audience of child-rich young families, regular tables and hungry seniors... Everything absolutely uncomplicated and familiar! Operation: Since it is often good to do, but everyone knows what he wants from the well-known very extensive offer, there is an almost partner symbiosis: Greeting, Smalltalk, Ouzopulle, order intake and everything during parallel trays and drinks almost fly past. But always kind of cozy and personal. The diligent team around the boss is well tuned and seems to be master of any situation and special desire. You're practically under you. Food: The great Greek standard offer very cheap and with many still interesting combinations and honest rustic, good macho as well as some surprising subtleties that are not found in comparable facilities. Quite hearty pasta dishes, child-friendly offers, very lush and also a lamb fillet from the grill in oil and garlic (15,90€), which is as fresh and delicate as in the case of the Nobelgriechen. Cleanly tuned with good bars Pommes Frites and really delicious with excellent in no way lame meat quality. But I was wondering about the previous assessment: Friendly staff Naja, the lady who mainly hosted us, shined through her Hamburger butterfly, although close to the Kasernenhofton this is still happening: But the head of the restaurant is so, muffley to unfriendly as I have not experienced it for a long time. If he doesn't like it, he's supposed to close the store. But he can cash well, and indeed handwritten on a block, as 40 years ago. There is no receipt. What do the authorities say? The revenues are not clearly posted to the guest in cash. Otherwise, the heath has a strong effect from time, altogether uncomfortable. And great food: normal Greek food. Note: A wide range always indicates prefabricated products, i.e. 08/15. Clean toilets (see other ratings) are fundamental to me and at most worth not fulfilling a comment. I can't recommend a friendly host with comprehensible bookings could change that easily.
I have to say it with all clarity, where all the others with significantly more expensive prices are always negative, so here for many years a very fair price/performance ratio !!! I know about the problems caused by lockdowns and other reasons for gastronomy. I have been with my family here for many years regular guests have always eaten very tasty, whether grilled, fish or good salads..... how beautiful this is still a great restaurant despite all the difficulties. Although the furniture is no longer new, it has been renovated, new floors and very clean sanitary facilities. The boss is always happy to come to the table to unform about the well-being of the guests. Very positively the handling of small children....My 5 year old son can move freely everywhere.... Next so, do not give up!!! Recommendation for families with children!!!!
Always good... Rustic Greek with very delicious, crispy gyros. There is also a beer garden for the summer. Friendly, flashy staff. Reservation recommended as many regular guests come.
