Great food. cauliflower and brussel sprouts were large interchangeable appetizers.

Food was okay. 3 Hamburgers came out, not as ordered. Salad came with item that were requested to be removed, still on the salad. Waiter was mostly absent and hurried but Jesus worked feverishly to assure we were taken care of. Overall, we were treated very well but like our food to arrive as ordered. Please put the Halibut special back on the menu.

This place was the only place with availability. We drove about 30 minutes for a 7 pm last minute reservation. It was located at the Black Mountain Hotel. We ordered two hamburgers, tomato soup and bourbon bbq wings. The hamburgers were okay. The wings were fair but not delicious. I felt the food was pretty generic and highly priced for the food quality. We witness two different parties sit at a table next to us who left bc they didn’t line the menu. We decided to stay bc it was getting late and we didn’t want to drive anywhere else. The food was bad and poor quality fir the price. The service was great and staff were friendly. However, I don’t recommend this place.

Very disappointed. Obviously they were short of kitchen staff but manager did not have the basic courtesy to let us know before we sat down. First of all we had to wait 30 mins past our reservation time for table and then after ordering drinks the waiter told us that there was over an hour wait for entrees. Since it was already well past 8pm and we had driven out of town to go to the restaurant we just decided to order appetizers and pizza and hope it would arrive quicker. 45 mins later we got our food which was just okay and not once did the hostess/manager come and apologize. The poor waiter was trying his best but come on manager/owner step up. Never going back and would not recommend taking the drive to Overlook.
