Timber Bay Resort On The Spider Lake Chain

Quiet, from the way, cut off from the outside world, with a beautiful view over the lake.

We stopped some paints here when we are on the snowmobile. great place to warm up, bar food and good drinks and good beer selection. would definitely stop again if they were looking for a good place in the forest to warm up and take a quick bite or drink.

I was here a few times last year when I was in the opposite. the fish tacos are excellent. I also like the great selection of craft berries. the journey worth it. it is a very friendly place.

Discovered this little treasure on tripadvisor ... cannot believe they've been open five years, and we're just now learning about them! We headed over on a lazy Sunday afternoon, while the weather was still cold and clammy. Located on one of the most beautiful lakes in the area, this tiny fishing resort lodge' offers the true up-north' ambience, and OUTSTANDING food. The tripadvisor reviews praised their shrimp tacos and their homemade pizza. We opted for the artichoke pizza. It was perfectly seasoned, with fresh ingredients. We were so enamoured, we returned a week later with friends and tried the shrimp tacos. Huge shrimp, very fresh, beautifully assembled and presented. Their menu isn't large, and the result is perfection in the items they DO offer. The resort was condo'd out, but Dan and Dawn still manage the rentals for the rustic cabins.This place is low-key with great service and unbelievable food! Our only complaint is they are closed on Mondays. Even Memorial Day, when we'd hoped to visit them.
