Deerfoot Lodge Resort - Hayward

This is my favorite place to stay. Amanda and her Staff are amazing people. Great food and great views

We greatly enjoyed our weeks stay at Deerfoot. We stayed in one of the motel units, which served our needs well. We found the entire property to be clean and efficient. The staff was approachable, available and friendly. And the bartenders in the lodgewere extremely friendly and helpful. Plus our food was cooked to order and tasted great. The live music on two afternoons wasan unexpected welcome bonus.

Deerfoot recently hosted its 5th Annual Women's Musky School, and it was an amazing experience! The location is fantastic, and the staff, food, and accommodations are all top-notch. I highly recommend checking it out—you won't be disappointed!

I stayed at the lodge and found it to be spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The mini kitchen had everything needed for meal prep, especially for hungry anglers on the move. They also provided a full-size Weber charcoal grill, making lakeside grilling a delightful experience. The beds were comfortable, and the view was stunning. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to fish the Big Chip again! Additionally, the fishing boat was very reliable and came well-equipped with a graph and a trolling motor.

The staff was exceptional, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. They serve some of the best burgers I've ever had. The view from my motel unit overlooking the lake was stunning, especially during the breathtaking sunsets.
