Bidra med feedbackWonderfully cheap prices for the fresh and filling food! I come here quite often because I personally can't fault this place. The boat noodle soup is a perfect size for me, curry and stir fried are good too.
Heard so much good about their boat noodle and I finally visited this place. The boat noodle really lives up to the hype with their flavourful broth and chewy noodles. They were pretty generous on the meat and veggie too considered it’s only $4. Definitely going back for a quick noodle fix.
If you’re in the Haymarket area of Sydney, the one absolute certainty is that you mwo’t struggle to find a decent Thai meal. What this means though is that the competition is fierce and standards are high as a result. Those that survive are invariably pretty good. ChonSiam is a pokey place miniscule in fact compared to others nearby. It’s not a flashy place either. The menu isn’t lengthy and it’s clear the focus is on the food.
In this place, food served very quickly and tasty too. I consider this as cheap eat for Thai as the dishes are start from $4 and quite good serving. Every time we go to this restaurant, I always like to order beef boat noodle soup. Highly recommended. The soup is really good for winter season especially and full of flavour.
I love this place, simply for its boat noodle soup. It not complicated and it tastes so good; and all for a miserly $4. Yes! I do prefer their simpler dishes and their curries (they are on the spicier side rather than their stir fries; but I still chalk this as a favourite for the boat noodles alone... and did I mention it's open until late (normally at the perfect time I should be on the train home after a few to many quiet ones...
