El Vaquero West - Haymarket

The nachos Tejanos and chori pollo are delicious, however the flan in inconsistent. the last two time I ordered it, it was overcooked with a horrible texture. The other items on the menu have been great.

Chori pollo was fantastic! This was one of the best meals Ive had in a long time. The guacamole, chorizo, and rice were so flavorful and well made and the chicken was cooked perfectly! Would definitely recommend

We ordered a bunch of food, including the 215. Enchilada Supreme 54. Cheese Dip 68. Extra Chips 299. pint of chip salsa 245. Tacos de Carne Asada And others. Everything arrived cold, or barely warmed. Nothing had any seasoning or salt. It was haphazardly thrown together and really not very good. We also ordered corn tortillas and got flour. Definitely would not order again.

The taco salad was all kinds of unpleasant and the shell at the bottom was soggy and disintegrated. I had pb&j instead.

The flan was rubbery and hard around the top and bottom. It had no actual flavor and was not silky but almost cottage cheese texture. It was totally covered in chocolate sauce I couldnt taste much else. The best part was the whipped cream and cherry on top. It was also almost hot upon delivery. They gave me an incredible amount of meat, peppers and onions; but the amount of toppings wasnt enough for 4 fajitas. They also only gave 3 tortillas. Overall very disappointing. Definitely will not be ordering here again. Total waste of $40.
