The Wimsen Cave is the only cave in Germany that can be visited by boat. The Gasthof Friedrichhöhle, a former mill, offers Swabian cuisine as at the time of the fair, modernly interpreted and in organic quality. Demeter certified companies will be the inn in the 5th generation of the company. From here, many beautiful family-friendly walks and hiking trails through the Aach or Glastal take the most strollers and Rolator suitable. I returned to the historic Gasthof Friedrichshöhle at the end of a cave entrance and a hike. The inn looks very welcoming from the outside. I ate my cherry cake delicious and quite large pieces on the beautiful terrace of the inn directly at the brook, enjoyed the lapping of the water, the freely circulating chickens and the many greens around, here the soul can recharge. The menu is still lived here with soups, Swabian classics, fresh trouts, organic meat dishes from the Biosphere Reserve Swabian Alb, vegetarian and vegan, vesper dishes, ice cups, Licker desserts, coffee and cake tradition and hospitality. In addition to the restaurant, the terrace café, there is also a kiosk farm directly at the cave entrance of the farm. While in the garden terrace café it is cozy, rustic to find a tasteful modern interior concept inside the restaurant. Everyone should enjoy the nature experience of Wimsen, highly recommended.

A particularly beautiful hiking trail led us along the AACH to the Wimsenhöhle, also called Friedrichshöhle, which is a special feature in Germany. It is the only WASSERHÖHLE that can be used with a 70 meter long chamfer. A cave where the spider Aach comes. The little hike made us good. All of our group, who were no longer so well on foot, brought the bus to the beautiful garden industry at the entrance of the cave.
