Bidra med feedbackStopped at Vicki's tonight for supper. Had a craving for Scallops but sadly they were out so had their special, Haddock Tips, also a favourite of mine. The plate was heaping with lots of fish, nice and lightly breaded over a bed of fries. Let's just say I couldn't finish my plate, and not because I didn't like it. I simply had no room left. Too bad because the huge pies they have for dessert also look yummy!I'll be back, and hopefully they'll have scallops!
We stopped to have fish and chips because Trip Advisor reviews were so strong. When asked the waitress what we were to expect of the fish and chips, she stated "The BEST in the country!" She was confident and proud. She had every reason to be like this. The was breaded and not coated with the traditional puffy batter. Fish was delicious! The root beer ice cream floats were no slouch either!
We visited late in the day an hour before closing. Staff were very pleasant even after a long busy day. The fish and chips meal special was excellent. Crust was light and the fish was fresh. The reputation for good food and service at this restaurant is well known throughout the Annapolis Valley N.S.Several people recommended this establishment to us.

One of the best meal memories of our trip to Nova Scotia. Service was excellent. Incredible fish and homemade chips. Worth the exit off the main road. A local highly recommended, and we agree.
