Uncle Georges Lounge At The Volcano House

Our waiter was excellent and the food was delightful, but unfortunately, we encountered rudeness from the bartender, who is not part of our seating area. Interestingly, he seems to identify as a park ranger. This establishment is owned by the Hawai 'i Volcanoes Lodging Company, LLC. hey sparky your jurisdiction is the bar and not the park. will not be going back.if you really want to do something patrol the steam vents to keep people from throwing trash in them.

Courtney was our bar tender and is a star!Looked after us sat at the bar both nights we visited. Amazing cocktails ? Especially some favourites of her own.Great service. Excellent drinks. Trust me the bar is the place to sit.Ask for Courtney and tip her well!Highly recommended

My family and friends had lunch here two days ago and it was simply amazing my ahi poke tower was utterly to die for. Everyone else at the table also enjoyed their entrées. Our server (sorry I didn't get her name) was friendly, efficient, and just a hoot she had the bartender whip up a cocktail for me that was so delicious I had a second, and I *never* have two drinks with my meals. The view over the crater is unbeatable, and we all left with happy tummies.

If you have no other option and want to stay in the area, this is ok. The Guava Flow drink is delicious and strong, so worth the money. The fish and chips and the fish dinner leave much to be desired. The macaroni salad was also flavorless.The poke tower starter is SMALL for the price and lacks flavor, but you’re paying for convenience of being the park.I will say, our server was incredibly nice and sweet.Also: I would try to sub out the rice, such a waste…
