Martha's Pizza - Haw River

The Hand tossed thin pizza had the Best Flavor I'd tasted and so close to the I-40. The waitresses know their menu and share the specials of the day. The Philly Icee add a sweet ending.

First time trying this place. It was great. The portions were huge. It was like good home cooked food and the service was good too. Hubby had the hamburger steak with collards and mashed potatoes, I had the lasagna, and our kid got the chicken tenders and fries. None of us could eat half of our plates it was so much food (not complaining just leftovers for later). Everything was great. Will definitely be back!

I’ve had a terrible experience every time I’ve visited this restaurant. I ordered a pizza once, and it was still doughy—however, I decided to overlook that. When I returned for another pizza, I noticed they had raised their prices by $3.50 for each extra topping, which I found outrageous. I quickly let the server know that I didn’t want to pay $30 for a large pizza, and she yelled at me across the entire restaurant for not wanting it. I will never come back here again!

I will never return to this restaurant. This was our third visit, and we had really enjoyed the pizzas on our first two trips. However, this time they made a mistake. Instead of preparing a new pizza for us when we brought the issue to their attention, they simply fried up some toppings and tossed them onto the previously cooked pizza, along with some unmelted cheese, and sent it back. I will never spend any money there again.

We visited this restaurant and ordered a turkey sub, but when I looked at it, it seemed like something a child would make, featuring wilted brown lettuce. We decided to go back and ask for a refund, but were told that no refunds are given. Instead, we could get a replacement, during which the staff member became quite rude. In the end, he even called the police after I confronted him about his poor customer service. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone!
