La Moraleja - Havana

This is by far one of the best places we have eaten in Havana. The building, the service, the quality of food, the fantastic live music, and all or all you can think was really extraordinary. I hope La Moraleja is Harbinger of things that come in Havana - a beautiful (I say it) company. It was also one of the rare places with a good wine list.

This was one of the best meals we had when visiting Havana. The house is beautiful - we had lunch in the courtyard. There were seating in the courtyard and air-conditioned seating within a solarium. The gardens were beautifully decorated and kept. It was very clean. We chose a complete menu; Appetizers, several Entrees (served family style) desserts, drinks, a shot of rum and a cigar to wrap things up! The service was wonderful. It was a great experience and very favorable. I highly recommend it!

On Monday to La Moraleja for lunch. Located in Verdado, it is a beautiful escape from the hectic of downtown Havana. We sat on a relaxing outdoor terrace surrounded by gardens. Alessandro treated us well to start with fresh Focaccia and finish aged rum. In between, the food was one of the best we had in Cuba. The music was okay.

We had mixed seafood pasta and pesto priawns, salads and drinks, all really great!

Good food and a nice atmosphere. There is also a smaller air conditioned dining area for when it's just too hot out
