Mama Sbarro's Restaurant - Hauppauge

The service was excellent and they had a nice variety of dishes to choose from on the menu.

On a Saturday night, I visited an Italian restaurant that seemed empty except for a large group outside. The service was alright, although there was a long wait to receive the check and an even longer wait for them to return with my credit card. The food was decent but lacked flavor. Overall, it wasn't bad but also didn't stand out as great. With so many other Italian restaurants in the area, I doubt I would come back.

At first seems like a basic Italian restaurant/pizza shoppe in a shopping center but it’s not! The food is great and the service is even better! We go back often bc Alexandra (Ali is so welcoming and an amazing manager or server (not really sure of her role . She greets us by name and says start with the usual (remembered after our first visit ! makes great menu recommendations, we ya e tried MANY specials bc of her and tried menu items (delish we may not have normally ordered. Love the baked clams and penne vodka. Nice spin on mozzarella sticks too. Love this place. Sit at a booth!

Overall the food was good although they brought out my wife's dish almost 10 minutes before mind. The waitress was apologetic; however, the place was not crowded and we could not understand why unless the waitress did not put the order in. I would stick to the pizza here!!

We were served and seated quickly. Service was good, exception was a salad we ordered was missing ingridients. After mentioning to our waitress we were told that the ingridients had been recalled. It wasreturned and we ordered something else in its place. (Its a pizza shop with seated service as well)
