Pilot Travel Center - Haughton

This crazy truck stop has a crazy manager in it she didn't put out any hot dogs because she didn't purchase any hot dog buns about 3 years ago I left a one star and I haven't been back since I come back 3 years later and this place is collapsing now theair conditioner don't even work and they've been on the news for their pump skimming people's cards I miss the good old dayswell I sum it up to this crazy place I won't be back ever again

This is the most disgusting Pilot bathroom that I have ever saw in my entire life in my career driving 18 wheelers. The bathroom was stinking before I even opened the door. I didn't even wash my hands I was too scared to touch anything. This place smellslike a mixture between a sewer and a landfill . The smells came through my mask ,I thought I was going to die or something.

After reading some of the other reviews, I feel like I'm talking about a different place. I agree that the parking lot isn’t the best for truckers, but the staff was fantastic, and the store was clean and well-stocked. We decided to try some food from the hot box and opted for the meatloaf dinner, and let me tell you, it was amazing! The potatoes were fresh, not instant, and the meatloaf was perfect—just the right portion size and bursting with flavor. I’m also in danger of becoming addicted to their green beans. To the person or team that prepared this meal behind the scenes, thank you! I wish I could shake your hand, hug your mom, and kiss your babies. This was pure perfection at a truck stop hot box, and I’ll definitely be stopping here every time I pass through this area.

The overnight staff were very rude, except for one employee who seemed to take her job seriously—I didn’t catch her name. I was checking out a beer at the self-checkout when she appeared out of nowhere with a code and a bag. She was very pleasant. Unfortunately, the other night workers were extremely rude.
