Driving home from North Carolina to New Orleans with BBQ cravings. Searched and found Murky Waters. My wife and I were very satisfied. Neat location in a renovated house. Lots of interesting blues art and photos on the walls. Very good food and friendly service. An interesting well stocked bar. If you are in town or on the highway this place is worth a stop

Such a cool place, chill vibe, friendly staff. The food was on point! Their sides were huge! We had brisket and pulled chicken…so good. Mixed the vinegar sweet sauce, yum. My husband ordered a **** derby and he said it was amazing, might have had another to be sure.

The food was delicious. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is well worth visiting.

This is our first time here. The food was absolutely delicious. Our server Steven or should I say the guy with the dreads (FYI that 's what he told me to call him lol) was awesome and he also makes a pretty nice margarita. We will be back.
