Kings Creek - Hastings

Pleasant surprise! I hadn't been here for a very long time. It was one of the quiet nights I think. Foods was lovely and staff were well presented and polite.

Really loved the big screen to watch matildas. The service was great.

The two Roast Dinners were terrific, really enjoyable. It was Saturday and very busy and lots of kiddie winkies running around but apart from that, all good.

Roast Pork was a very nicely done meal, the pork tender and vegetables very plentiful and lovely presentation. My partner chose the crumbed calamari, twas a disaster on a plate, never before had he been served up frozen, manufactured calamari rings at a hotel, I was very dismayed as I had chosen, Kings Creek Hotel

We booked a table for a birthday celebration not knowing we had to pay cakage even though we brought paper plates. We did pay, however it would have been nice to know this before booking. I didn't see this info online or the website and I also couldn't find the menu on the website. We booked our table because we have come quite a few times before. Each time it has been a nice visit. The food was great. Need to improve on the roast of the day. Yorkshire pudding was not nice. The young fella working (trainee) was very helpful. Overall this venue is our local and has a nice ambience and we will be back again.
