Ya Bon French Baker - Hastings

I visited this restaurant for a late afternoon coffee and found that they were running low on bakery goods. Despite this, the praline cream pastry we ordered was incredibly delicious. The coffee was also excellent, especially for someone particular about their coffee. It seems that most freshly baked items are sold out by 11:00 am, so I plan to come back for breakfast next time. The seating inside is limited, but there is a pleasant outdoor area as well.

The pastries are delicious and the coffee is excellent. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Their coffee is one of the best in Hastings. And, their almond croissants are 10/10

I am a fan of almond croissants. If I visit a new bakery, I assess the quality of the pastries by how well they do this staple. Ya Bon passed the test! What a delightful almond croissant. Crispy, flavourful, filling. My mouth pleased. My stomach warm. My heart full. Continue the great work!

Our first experience was superb! had the baguettes; simple no fuss fresh ingredient kind breakie also ordered a cinnamon roll ? . food was just top notch! this was on our morning before the hike up sunrise hut and the day after we popped by to grab a chia seed sourdough as we couldnt not swing by to have those delicious baked goods. if we are ever in the area, we’ll definitely have a stop over.
