Bidra med feedbackWe were travelling through Harvey on a Sunday morning and were desperate for a coffee and nutritious breakfast. Unfortunately being a Sunday all the cafe 's in town were closed and our only option was the local bakery which had terrible pies and was not serving coffees 'yet '. By chance, on our way out of town we spotted the Stirling Cottage Cafe and it 's beautiful relaxing gardens. The Staff were kind and food delicious, we had coffees and scones with jam and cream but there was an array of delicious cakes and slices on display, ham&cheese croissant, salmon, spinach and cream cheese croissant, steak and Guiness pies just to list a few! I would definitely recommend a visit! Enjoy :
Heading back to Perth, and decided to stop in harvey on the way back! No other cafes were open to eat on a Sunday at 2, and I'm so glad! What a little slice of heaven in the middle of nowhere! With a view that amazed. Please visit this secret little cottage! All the food you can see in my pics below was homemade inc the tomato sauce!
Order the pork roll! Beautiful cafe, beautiful staff. Absolutely made my trip to Harvey, thank you so much. With lovely surroundings and amazing atmosphere you can appreciate this cafe and your delicious pork roll, trust me!
Wonderful little Cafe. My friend and I out for a Sunday drive found ourselves in Harvey and stopped at the Stirling Cottage Cafe for a light lunch. We were greeted very warmly, and my friend, who is gluten free, was pleasantly surprised that for such a small cafe there were quite a few choices available for her. I had the pork and gravy roll and a chai latte, my friend had a bowl of potato and leek soup along with a coffee. Service was prompt, our drinks hot and delicious, and we both enjoyed our simple and delicious lunch. A walk in the beautiful gardens after our meal was a must, and all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stop at the Stirling Cottage Cafe and will definately revisit on another Sunday drive.
Beautiful location and good coffee and cake. Meals are sadly disappointing however.Definitely worth a trip, just have lunch beforehand.
