O Mandarin - Hartsdale

Firstly, I come here all the time and I do like the food and appreciate a Chinese restaurant like this in Westchester. I will continue to come here because my kids like the food. That said, I 'm giving it fewer stars because I find the service mechanical and factory-like, and I 've gone there on TWO separate occasions where the credit card machine broke . Fine, things happen, but I was only told this BOTH times AFTER my table was seated and I already ordered! If their credit card machine was broken, they should tell you before they even seat you, not after you 've invested time and ordered waiting for your food. They typically offer no solution other than there is a bank down the street . I eventually found a creative way to pay which I completely had to come up with, and really received no courtesy apology or acknowledgement of the trouble from anybody. I literally spent 15 minutes out of my dinner working with a staff member to pay my bill over THEIR broken technology, to sit back down and be ushered out of our table without warmth or politeness. It was a bad experience and I feel like servers at Applebees would have been nicer and more competent. So, I will keep coming here, but pretty much dreading certain wait staff who are cold, and anticipating broken credit card machines. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Whenever I go home I always need to come here. I’ve never had a bad dish, I love the chicken lettuce wraps, the cold noodles, the green beans, pork belly, dumplings — it’s all amazing! If you want to spend less, they have a good lunch menu. Free easy parking, service is always great. The food here is amazing the sesame noodles are so good they are very spicey I love the appetizers they are absolutely delicious order the lo mein you will love it this restaurant reminds me of being in VEGAS what a great atmosphere Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had a large (27 people) group meal here to celebrate friends and family visiting and O Mandarin was wonderful in helping to accommodate such a large party with excellent food and nice service. We were seated on time with several tables and large booth all set up for us, and two lovely servers helped us all evening. The decor was very modern Chinese and more comforting than a typical Chinese restaurant. I ordered for the tables and sampled their delicious Peking Duck along with an assortment of dishes across their menu. Everything was quite delicious and my guests enjoyed the food immensely. Service for this may patrons can be challenging, but our servers were on top of it all and helped make sure to provide everything we needed.
