Tico's Place - Hartford

Ticos is arguably the best Puerto Rican restaurant in Hartford. DEFINITELY my favorite! The food is always amazing, try the pork plantain pinchos. Over the past 8 years I've been a satisfied customer of there's. The staff has changed but the owner is the sweetest lady her dedication to a clean restaurant top quality food is more than admirable. I tried the blood sausage once, a dish I wouldn't try if I didn't trust the restaurant. I was surprised by how good it was. Don't forget dessert! Their oreo cake is LEGENDARY. They have an excellent parking lot too, not always easy to find parking in Hartford.Parking: They have a huge lot that's easy to find on the left of the building if you're facing it. There's even a good fence around it so no one passes through it, just people parking for the restaurantWheelchair accessibility: They have two ramps into the front back door of the restaurant

The Capri is to die for I love them they can have a little dining area outside that would be nice first thing I will give them 4.4 out of 5

The staff is warm and friendly the food is delicious as always cooked fresh daily. I highly recommend you try their cherry juice

A previous coworker of mine’s family owns the restaurant, I came here one day to try it out and have been IN LOVE with their food ever since! Now it is a special spot for me to stop by to get very satisfying portions for my fiancé and I when we can have lunch together!I highly recommend the fried rice, beef, and plantains. Don’t forget the passion fruit juice !!!!
