Great food been coming for 10 plus years. Staff has changed but food is very close to original recipes. Easily best Thai food in Hartford and surrounding cities. Give it a try!

The King I was a great surprise. We had been searching for a new Thai restaurant since Thai Palace in Bloomfield was under new management and the food was no longer edible. This restaurant has a large menu with many suggestions and photos. It is a tiny place with ample off street parking and very cozy and romantic. If you BYOB they offer free ice bucket with glasses. Waitress was very cordial, pleasant and friendly. We ordered two soups, an appetizer and one dish. Each small soup is enough for two and after the chicken dumplings we couldn’t even finish the pineapple, rice and shrimp with yellow curry. We look forward to returning for their lunch, which has smaller portions. It would be nice if lunch included a free small soup as lunch special.

I was looking for Pad Thai restaurant and then I chose King I Thai because I saw the good review from google. But I so disappointed the food and the way they treat their customer. The food for takeout looks too old and turn hard like it’s re-used. The food for vegetarian was put together with seafood…?
