Bidra med feedbackNot knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised by this offbeat and refreshingly different restaurant. Exceptionally casual atmosphere with a view of the municipal airport Airfield.A nice selection of craft brews, full bar, and daily specials are available in addition to their nice selection of food standards. Our server was wonderful, attentive, and offered some nice recommendations. The salads were large and very fresh. Burgers met everyone's expectations and we even checked out a local favorite of some fried cheese curds which you simply must have once in a while!Complementary parking available, open seating plan with outdoor seating, weather permitting. A fun place to check out when you're in the area.
We were there last night we had a couple burgers that were very good with the chips love those. My daughter had a wrap and she said it was the best she had ever had. Our waitress was right on top of things and the cheesecake was the best. It's one of our favorite places
Absolutely fabulous. Atmosphere feels of clean calm welcoming energy. Spacious, open feeling but cosy at the same time. No pretentiousness, very warm hospitality and beautiful caring patient staff. Our meals were really fresh, wonderfully presented and generous portions for great prices… I didn’t expect so many LARGE prawns in one dish. Very child friendly especially for little aviator enthusiasts. Outdoor play area with aitlrcraft flying over. Sit back on outdoor seating or layabout on the manicured grass as the kids play. Very safe secure feeling, highly important. Extremely delighted we visited this gem after the amazing Moorabbin Aircraft Museum. Great day out.
We had a group of 18 for lunch. While I don't have a complaint about the staff or the food I do have one about the manager. There was a misunderstanding about a plate of risotto which resulted in
Flight Deck makes for a fun meal that I would make a special trip to get to. The restaurant shares a building with a sky diving school and has a patio area where if you can get a table there it's a great place to watch the sky divers. We were fortunate enough to be there for lunch on a Sunday and got a table on the patio. There was no shortage of sky diving action to watch and the food was delicious. I had their version of a Big Mac type burger. My only complaint about the burger was that the bottom bun was steaming hot making picking up the burger difficult. I ended up eating it with a fork and knife. The service was friendly but at times slow which was okay because we had wonderful weather and a lot to watch. If you're nearby or need a day trip destination put this restaurant on your list!
