Mama Mia - Hart

Beautiful authentic Italian cuisine and great for this romantic meal out or just for celebrating. beautiful personal and I love eating here, everything from steak to pasta dishes it is worth everything while. a lot of parking in front and back provided and it is only outside hardley whitney so that they need their car or go long to get there.

Food is excellent, the staff are funny, friendly and extremely attentive. This restaurant is a massive treat to have as a local. We are always surrounded by brilliant vibes and to mention again the food is always to die for!

A surprisingly large interior yet the clever design means that each area feels cosy very welcoming. The menu is well thought out and provided us with excellent choices combined with a lovely bottle of wine helped make this, our first visit, want to come back again. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly gave us the level of customer care not experienced all that often. I made an observation on my partners main course which was taken in the way I meant it, ie, not a complaint did not spoil the evening we had. Definitely going back soon I can see Mama Mia's becoming one of our favourite restaurants.

What a wonderful restaurant! Delicious food and the best hospitality we’ve experienced in a while. It really felt like being back in Italy. The atmosphere was great and every table in the restaurant was full, but this didn’t impact the service level at all. Make sure you book as it’s clearly very popular! Thank you Mama Mia for a fabulous birthday meal. We will be back!

Don't want to critise too much as 3 out of 4 of us enjoyed the meal, hence why I have given a 3 marking. Personally though I was very disappointed. The meal was for my 50th birthday (although the restaurant did not know that). I was looking forward to a really good pizza to be told the pizza chef was not in so no pizza that Saturday night. OK it happens but it should have been mentioned when they phoned that morning to confirm the booking. Being vegetarian that left me with 2 options. One I didn't fancy so had pasta with mushrooms, cherry tomato's and olive oil. Pretty tasteless and the oil tasted like it had been used previously to fry seafood. The restaurant has a good reputation but it's not somewhere I would go back to.
