The Madonna Halley - HARROW

Terrible customer service. Food was nice but we had snacks and cocktails. Staff member asked us to Leave after we had been there for less than 2 hrs. Seemed more interested in the teenagers smoking shisha than adults who went for food and drinks. Wasn’t happy at all.

Booked this hotel as my husband had an operation booked in National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore the following day and it was quite close and had good reviews. . On arrival the place looked shabby and very run down. It was hard to find as the signage is extremely poor. No reception area just people milling around. Room was large but very grubby with dust and dirt on the skirting’s and corners of the floor, very creaky floor boards and curtains hanging off their hooks on the rail. I did notice two large cracks in the ceiling but didnt think anything of them. . At 2am we were woken up to water coming through the ceiling in two places. Near the bottom of the bed annd across a cupboard where the tv and electric cables were. Went to try and find member of staff to help us as advertise 24hr reception but no one around and the building locked up. Ended up having to move all our stuff, together with the bed , away from where the water was coming in and using towels and spare bedding to mop it up and disguise the noise. Spent the rest of the night worrying the ceiling was going to fall in. So no sleep from then onwards. Next morning spoke to the guy who checked us out who seemed uninterested and more concerningly unsurprised! Contacted the hotel later that day to voice our concerns and request a refund for the terrible night we had, to be met with apologies and agreements we were due a refund but then nothing. Can’t comment on the rest of the hotel but a dreadful stay before having to have an operation and very misleading reviews on Booking .Com where it was rated at 8.3. Certainly nowhere near this in our opinion!

Awesome hotel/restaurant, staff were outstanding. Owners were fabulous, made us coffee delish pastries before we checked out. They also gave us the history of the fabulous place. Brilliant stay food, very unique.

I honestly wouldn’t come back. Like ever. The food wasn’t great, being that the venue was sublime I expected more. The food was low quality. We were secluded all the way at the back of the venue and we asked to move but it was an instant no, all of the action appears to be near the front, a celebrity was even there that night. Would of been nice to be seated near him on my birthday. We were seated next to cigarette smokers and my friends and I do not smoke, so that was lovely lol. And the service was terrible. The nicest lady was front of house. She was so kind and well mannered. But yeah, 10/10 do not recommend.

I don’t know how this shisha place has any good reviews our experience was awful. This place seemed to be hyped all over social media and looked amazing so thought me and the girls would give it a go. We came from a different town took us hour and half to get there our reservation was at 6 and parking was really difficult to find. We eventually found somewhere and tried to ring the place to let them know we may be late but no one answered. We were no more that 10 mins late they guy outside was very rude and said your time has gone you can’t go in and then ignored us and then let a couple behind us who had the same time reservation as us in! Which really didn’t sit right me with how was there a different policy for them. After being left outside In the cold for few minutes I confronted the man and said how are these people aloud in when they are as late as us he then goes you can go you only have hour and half. The place inside is beautiful not seen anything like it however we didn’t even get a chance to finish out food before we were told to go number of times before our time limit. If the place was heaving and busy I would understand that they would want to let other customers in but the place was empty and there was plenty tables available. People who where there before us was never told to leave but we were? We came dressed according to the dress code people there were in tracksuits but for some reason we were not welcomed. The tables were ridiculously small impossible to eat comfortably. Went to myst west after and the service was amazing and welcoming not worth going here.
