Cafe Nero, Stanmore, Middlesex - HARROW

The staff are very welcoming, coffee is great and the atmosphere is quite quiet and peaceful! It's very convenient for the station too :

This is not a restaurant but a coffee house BUT they have toasted sandwiches, paninis, cakes, croissants, delicious Italian biscuits, soups, porridge, and many more tempting snacks. The drinks vary from cold juices, iced coffees, lattes, macchiatos, espressos and americanos plus teas, including herbal, chais plus ordinary tea. The staff are so friendly, most are Italian (you can practice your Italian, as I do). They are helpful and as I go there very regularly as I walk in the door they know exactly what I want before I even ask for it. There are many tables and a few leather couches and chairs, lovely background music playing and newspapers to read, if you so wish. I feel very comfortable when I am there and know all the staff, some by name. When I recently returned from holiday they said they missed me, which I thought was so sweet. There is a disabled toilet downstairs and toilets upstairs. Cafe Nero is in Stanmore Broadway opposite Nationwide, HSBC and Wenzels Bakery. There is a bus stop nearby and one opposite. There is a carpark behind Nationwide or off street parking in the service road (but not free). Or there is a carpark in Sainsbury's (but with limited parking times). I just love going there as it is convenient for me as I come on a bus and I look forward to seeing the guys and girls plus meeting friends and/or family members. An altogether lovely place.

The staff is remarkably unprofessional and rude. They show no courtesy, lack a smile, and often make condescending remarks while speaking in raised voices. They never take responsibility for their poor service. Additionally, the water jugs they use are dirty and completely unhygienic. Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I am thoroughly dissatisfied!

I stop by here frequently while out for walks. It's one of the few coffee shops that welcomes dogs! On top of that, they serve the best coffee, and the lovely ladies working there are so attentive that my coffee is almost ready before I even place my order! It's the perfect spot!

I ordered a double espresso, and the barista served it with a warm smile. It doesn't take much to provide good service, but she was polite, helpful, cheerful, and genuinely sincere.
