The Kestrel - Harrogate

We had a small weekend trip to york and wanted to find a real landscape near the yorkshire dales for the trip back. we found a great choice at the kestrel. friendly service at arrival, although we had not booked before. the menu looked... lovely and we went for the cake and the jazz. we would go back if we weren't living so far away. great service served with fabulous eating. the children's menu was a great hit and also looked homemade.

Popped on a quiet Sunday evening crowd of tables, but apparently it is only bookings! so make sure they don't disturb a reservation otherwise

What a beautiful place! a real reception as we arrived. our room was beautifully clean, crisp white bed linen, full comfortable kisses, beautiful bathroom. we had an excellent dinner and breakfast. a quiet night. the staff is very friendly and efficient. we will love it again! thank you.

A really aesthetic little guesthouse. beautiful decoration, they can say a lot of time, was spent so it feels comfortable! the menu looked great even though we only got drinks. looked in the sun and had a nice time. the only reason for the stars...is that the guinness on the train was a bit iron-y, possibly out of less use than the other drowned drinks? definitely comes back!

After my wife working all weekend at the Motorhome show we decided to have a meal out . We aren’t disappointed from walking into the building it was a pleasure. The food and service was first class.
